She goes through all the pain,

But they’re not ready to welcome her they feel its shame.

She’s pillar of your home with no appreciation & fame,

But still works with all her bleeding flame.

She’s up all night with her broken hopes & crying eyes,

And you’re still busy comforting yourself with lies.

She’s your responsibility you promised her to protect,

But she was Scratched, tortured & killed & what happened was just protest.

She don’t know how to dress,

    Just because you studied university,

But your education have made you more oppress.

She is outpouring & you cannot contain her in any frame,

Because she is a girl &

    A girl has no name.

Thank you for submitting this painfully felt and expressed poem, for consideration as Featured Poem of the Week.  It is powerful and, as I said, almost painful to read – so much emotion.  I appreciate you sending it to me.  Have a very lovely day, Susan
