    A cold hand

    Running down

    the back of your neck

    A blow of the

    Autumn wind

    A turn of the

    Pages of your book

    A sudden shiver

    down your spine

    A note played wrong

on the keys of a piano

    A darkening of the skies

    A thundering of

    Zeus’ bolts

    A chill along the green

    A clenching of the heart

    A clenching of the heart

    A whisper

    A whisper

    A sickening

And you know it has come again.

Thank you so very much for submitting your poem to be considered for Featured Poem of the Week.  I like the way the poem flows – I like the way you used repetition, and I like the powerful message that comes pounding through.  Well done, Susan
