Off late I have not seen my mirror
I have not done my messy hair
Nor there is kohl in my eyes
Or nor any accessories I pair.
I love to adorn myself and care
The world says I am intoxicated
I can’t see that I look my worst
But then l have a mirror in someone’s profound eyes.
Where the atmosphere is sacred and pure
I am beautiful that I believe
    I am no more superficial
The love is not fermented, its fresh as the season’s first night flowering jasmines.
A gift I offer ,a mirror for you ,where the soul can be seen and is ready for a cure.

Thank you for submitting your poem for consideration as Featured Poem of the Week.  What a very thoughtful and self-aware poem this is.  I thank you, most sincerely, for sharing it with me.  I wish you a happy and creative day, Susan
