    Life, what is life?

    I don’t think I deserve but

now I’m just preserved in pain.

    Mine, who is mine?

I had only few but now they all flew away

I wish I could tell someone,

that you are the only one,

I want to be with you always together.

    Disclosing my lonely side.

Cause I am the only child.

I wish you could hold me now and forever.

These are few ashes of my life.

I still try to hide like I always cry alone.

These are few ashes of my life.

I want to heal but I just don’t feel like home.

    But sometimes I think

    there’s someone far away.

    Hearing my voice and

telling that he’s on his way.

You’re my last hope and I’m

    waiting for you all day.

Please don’t stay, just take me away.

I know you’ll not be perfect

    Just be my secret.

    Go, where should I go?

    I can’t find a place that I

    can still face anymore.

    Me, You still judge me.

This is who I am and I

    know that I can’t afford.

I wish I could be happy

    Like everyone when I see.

I don’t know but it feels like hell.

Now I don’t even feel the breeze.

I’m alone but there’s no peace.

Nobody likes me for being myself

These are few ashes of my life.

I still try to hide like I always cry alone.

These are few ashes of my life.

I want to heal but I just don’t feel like home.

    But sometimes I think

    there’s someone far away.

    Hearing my voice and

telling that he’s on his way.

You’re my last hope and I’m

    waiting for you all day.

Please don’t stay, just take me away.

I know you’ll not be perfect

    Just be my secret.

Thank you for submitting your poem for consideration for Featured Poem of the Month.  I like the idea of this “dream” being just your secret.  It adds drama and a sense of self to the poem.  – Susan
