Thank you so much for sharing this very thought-provoking poem with me.  You have some very fine lines in you poem and they give the poem a power and intensity,  “For now my ambition is my destination…” and “Where one can live in the world one drew…”  I would suggest you check your English grammar and also, as I say to everyone who submits poems, don’t let the rhyme rule your poem!  Poetry is about a message but, a message that comes to us through imagery (metaphor and simile) and line break, and alliteration, and many other poetic techniques.  Your powerful message would come across so much stronger were we to hear it in a truly poetic voice.  I will, with pleasure, add your poem to the many I am considering for Featured Poem of the Month for July.  Thank you again for sharing this impassioned poem with me, Susan
