Today, I tasted her, Thorns argued me not to persist, But I couldn’t resist the taste of her petals,I lost myself in summer fruit, too sweet to notice the decaying roots.

 

Blinded by lust, Too cast in the moment to see her desire for chocking hands was a scream for help.

 

I thought her moans were hunger but they were cries for solace, With hands too eager and soul too darkened she asked for more and I fed her bruises. I kissed her silence like it was consent, Not knowing her tongue had learnt silence just to avoid the pain.

 

Yet, dear God, Yet I still dove deep into ocean abyss, Shark seeking blood to fulfill mine hunger, Bound not by her but by mine, mine own desire…
