Poet Lady Katz: new forum comment on Empty

New comment from Susan Katz

Thank you so much for your good words and, your fine poem. You have a true sense of poetic flow, with some fine images and impressive line break. I will add it the poems I am considering for Featured Poem of the Month for June. I am happy we share a similar passion for poetry. – Susan

<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And as he ran past </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Even time stood still,</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Perplexed. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He was beyond sight,</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And time still crawling, </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Struggled out of the hole, </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">the hole my mind dug deep for it.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">My sorrows weren't all mine, </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Some his,</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Some mine, </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Some of a time which </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Isn't mine anymore </span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I lay plundered,</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Of love</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Of warmth </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Of all that was given.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I lay forever now,</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the hole,</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">That even time left vacant. </span></p>
