Softly sprinkled changes

unfolded seven stages

stages of Sufi love

pyramid of truelove.

pyramid thereof

spells of attraction

threaded attachment.

 

Threaded attachment

with endless passion

calmed speechless lust

with timeless trust.

 

With timeless trust

with sprinkled gold dust

madness and worship

laced the relationship. 

 

Laced the relationship

with lost bargaining chip

left you and I out of breath

lily-livered at Sufis’ death. 

 

Lily-livered at Sufis’ death

destiny whistled a breath

cheerful cupid angels 

softly sprinkled changes.
