Poet Lady Katz: new forum reply to A BLACK WINDOW

New reply from Susan Katz

Thank you s o much for submitting your poem for consideration as Featured Poem of the Week. What a fine poem – filled with strong sentiment, images that are vivid, and I particularly enjoyed the line – "Like waiting for a bliss from heaven…" it opens doors into our imagination in a wonderfully poetic way. I hope you have a vey lovely, very creative day, Susan

A BLACK WINDOW

Somewhere on the barren land

Stands a creepy old Kingdom palace

Destroyed , devasted yet a pleasure to eyes

There stands a blue eyes filled with dreams of happiness

Happiness that never passes into nothingness

Long long long ago there stood a Kingdom

Filled with joyous Street like times of London

But then came a storm of dust, a storm of bad omen that took everything away

There was a voice from a black window

Window that still holds a story of past

Still dreams of world back in time to make a return

You never know when the wheel of fortune returns

Black window is still the place where light rays extend their beauty

The blue eyes get teary every evening

Like waiting for a bliss from heaven

And then every morning still dream of good old tales

Tales that have been printed in the books of history

#HISTORY REVEALS DREAMS ARE NEVER MEANT TO BE SURRENDERED BUT ALWAYS TO BE LIVED AGAIN AFTER TIMES OF DEVASTATION…
