Poet Lady Katz: new forum reply to Universal brotherhood.

New reply from Susan Katz

Thank you for submitting your poem for consideration for Featured Poem of the Week. There is power in the simplicity of this poem – the repetition – the joining together of all those "who wanted- who bled – who took – who are on their death bed – who started a war" and giving them a sort of equality. The truth of tragedy – it brings us all to our knees and unites us. Well done. Wishing you a very creative and happy day, Susan

Universal brotherhood.

The one who wanted to attain supremacy ;

The one who wanted revenge ;

The one who bled for their family ;

The one who took their first step ;

The one who are on their death bed ;

The one who started a war and the one who will end it ;

Are now United together in this strange catastrophe and shall attain universal brotherhood.
