New reply from Susan Katz

Thank you for sharing your philosophical poem with me. I very much like the tone of your poem, but fear there are some issues with translation into English. Some of the lines tend to be confusing and do not really say what I believe you are intending. However, your image of life being like "roses red" is really quite nice and I do so appreciate the emotion and energy that went in to creating your poem. Your friend in poetry, Susan

What this World is Like !

This world is like the roses red

So beautiful indeed !

Yet the thorns thy pricked our soul

Won't suffocate but lead.

Lessons have been hard to learn

But those who don't they bleed

Life is like a movie that teach us all to breathe.

This world is like the roses red

So wonderful indeed !

Yet it's hard to realize

When greed has tipped us each.

Stories have a moral end

But those who don't, agreed

They still teach us to differentiate and finally proceed.

This world is like the roses red

So mysterious indeed!

Yet the fact that truth's bitter

We prefer what is sweet.

Lies never walk along

But betray, believe

Though hard still it's good for us, never learn to cheat.
