    just wanted to share a short sweet poem i wrote when i was buying my home and moving out of my moms house : )

    bee poem

    look up, look down

    scent of honey in the air

    spread my bee wings- and fly,

    it’s my turn to leave the hive.

    i’m my own queen now.

     

    thats all just simple and amateur. hope anyone reading has a great day!

    It’s delightful.  Poetry should leave us feeling something and, your short but “sweet” poem, leaves us feeling uplifted, happy, imagining spreading our own “bee wings” and flying.  Thank you so very much for sharing.  Your friend in poetry, Susan
