Climate Change

Climate change is no more a hoax,

Save our future is my humble coax.

Floods, draughts, fire and tremors happening are the proof,

Its not the time to act like a goof.

By using biodegradable and emission free resources,

Let’s join hands together to eradicate this coerces.

Let’s save our planet Earth,

Leading our future to happy living life with no dearth.

Thank you for your poem that speaks to one of the most important issues of our time.  I feel your emotions and your message is honest and right on!  However, if we are trying to craft the message in the form of poetry, it needs less “telling” and more “showing.”  By that I mean, the poem needs images.  What better subject than the destruction of our planet by polluters and greed, to present with strong and powerfully emotional images.”Floods, draughts, fire and tremors happening are the proof,” – How about including more in the way of imagery here?  “Waters rise like giant hands, erasing landscapes – the earth burns itself dry, hungry flames eat the landscapes/ tremors shake us till we tremble like leaves in a strong wind…”  In other words – show us your passion – make us feel it, deep inside and then, your important poem will become more than a message, it will become a message formed in pure poetry.
