And as he ran past 

Even time stood still,

Perplexed. 

 

He was beyond sight,

And time still crawling, 

Struggled out of the hole, 

the hole my mind dug deep for it.

 

My sorrows weren’t all mine, 

Some his,

Some mine, 

Some of a time which 

Isn’t mine anymore 

 

I lay plundered,

Of love

Of warmth 

Of all that was given.

 

I lay forever now,

In the hole,

That even time left vacant.
