From the depths of my heart you came,
Calling like the noisy, inquisitive woodpecker,
That keeps knocking on my windowpane,
The words flowed like a fresh stream,
    Meandering through my bare bosom,
I let my emotions glide with it, painting,
My insights like a perfect portrait,
On that frail blank white paper!!

Very well done and very beautifully stated.  I love your image of that “noisy, inquisitive woodpecker/that keeps knocking on my windowpane…” because isn’t that exactly what the need to write is like!  A pestering inside your head – a noise – a knocking – a need for the words to find their way onto “that frail blank white paper!”  Thank you so much for sharing.  I have already sent your piece along to my Instagram Programmer so that it can be featured, one day soon, on my Instagram page.  I thank you for your interest in poetladykatz and look forward to reading more of your work in the future.  Your friend in poetry, Susan
