And one day, all will stop

The hurt you gave me won’t hurt me

The lies won’t be so painful

The heart won’t beat for you

The eyes won’t cry seeing you

The lips would be tightly locked

    The skin will turn numb

And that day would be my last breath still feeling same for you

You will be in oceans of regret seeking forgiveness from my ashes

And the only thing you would realise is you were late to feel the regret.

Smiling deep content I would be among stars

Seeing you and wishing you to calm

But the fire of regrets and guilts would burn you

And then all left would be memories ❤️

Thank you for submitting this very intense and very emotional poem for consideration for Featured Poem of the Month for June.  You have channeled your sadness and sense of loss, into a very touching poem that, I believe, will resonate with those who read it.  Thank you so much for sharing it with me, Susan
