    There they lay,

    Clusters of crushed draft;

    Possessing locutions of my frantic hunch.

    Conceived with vehemence &

    Perceived with my imperfections.

    The recited sagas might

    Forecast my serendipity.

    And often, the schemes of rhyme

    Which I slip by time.

    Now, the shattered heart utters

    A stirring tale of vie.

    Finally, C’est battle of thoughts

    and words was over,

    when the juvenile writer won.

    Thank you for submitting your poem to be considered for Featured Poem.  It is definitely a complicated message and I will spend some time reading and rereading it.  I thank you very much for sharing it with me, Susan

    Thank you for the opportunity, Susan. Besides, it is a great work you do! Encouraging many poets who don't have a platform and recognition. Bon journée à vous!
