Thank you for submitting this very intense and emotional poem for consideration for Featured Poem of the Month for July.  Your poem has a very real and very meaningful message and we can feel your pain, your anguish your “crushed soul.”  I would suggest, if I may, that you go over and check your English translation, as there are instances where the tenses are wrong, spelling is wrong, or meaning is not quite right.  The concept of “muting not only your voice” but your soul, as well – is strong and powerful.  Thank you for sharing with me, Susan

Thank you so much for sending your poem my way.  There is such a nice cadence to your poem.  It moves with an almost breathless quality and you also have some fine lines and a great message.  I very much like the idea of traveling “the unknown me.”  You might want to check on your English grammar, as there are some moments when it just doesn’t translate very well.  Example – the line “the Dances of past” should have a “the” before past.  Also, one would not say, “it blooms my heart” but rather, “my heart blooms.”  Very good job!  I am happy to add your poem to the many submitted for consideration for Featured Poem of the Month for July.  Thank you for sharing with me, Susan

Thank you so much for sharing this very thought-provoking poem with me.  You have some very fine lines in you poem and they give the poem a power and intensity,  “For now my ambition is my destination…” and “Where one can live in the world one drew…”  I would suggest you check your English grammar and also, as I say to everyone who submits poems, don’t let the rhyme rule your poem!  Poetry is about a message but, a message that comes to us through imagery (metaphor and simile) and line break, and alliteration, and many other poetic techniques.  Your powerful message would come across so much stronger were we to hear it in a truly poetic voice.  I will, with pleasure, add your poem to the many I am considering for Featured Poem of the Month for July.  Thank you again for sharing this impassioned poem with me, Susan

Thank you for sharing your very dramatic and heart-felt poem with me.  I can feel the need and the pain and longing that you describe in your poem.  I can feel “you” in your poem and that is, truly, the beginning of good poetry.  I do believe you need to check your English tenses on many of your words and also, meanings of many words, as well as, I could wish you had depended less on rhyme and more on images (metaphors and similes.)  The poem’s message is powerful and I am happy to add it the many poems I’ve received and am considering for Featured Poem of the Month for July.  – Susan

Thank you for submitting your poem for consideration for Featured Poem of the Month for July.  There is emotion and an awareness that language plays such an important part in the process of creating poetry.  I particularly liked “Somewhere deep rises a dark fog” and “like an invisible string of a kite.”  I once had a teacher advise me to “write up to the strongest part of your poem.”  You have some very strong parts to your poem, and I would love to see you “write up to them!”  I am grateful you chose to share your poem with me, Susan
